Silver Lining is focused on Medicare and the related ancillary products, also offering dental, vision, critical illness and life insurance. This focus enables Silver Lining to have a high level of expertise and understanding, so our clients always get the best possible outcomes.
What is the best possible outcome? When our clients have medical issues, we make sure their supplemental products cover them adequately, and in a way that they have less financial risk. Megan believes that you should be able to get the care you need without sacrificing your nest egg.
Born and raised in Conyers, GA, agency owner and President, Megan Sheridan-Byrom grew up in the insurance business. She began helping at her mom’s insurance agency at the age of 13, by helping clients, faxing documents, answering phone calls, etc. Growing up and learning in that environment provided invaluable experiences and knowledge, that she uses to this day, to help her clients to the best of her abilities.
In 2016, Megan earned her GA Life/Accident/Sickness license, and this past January she formed her own independent subsidiary of Sheridan & Associates called Silver Lining Medicare Solutions. SLMS is an independent insurance agency specializing in the senior market. She helps to navigate the “Medicare Maze” by customizing solutions for each individual situation.
When she’s not in the office, Megan enjoys reading, watching true crime documentaries, baking, sudoku, and spending time with her family. She is also an animal enthusiast with a love of marine fish and all aquatic life.
Megan resides in Newnan, GA with her three children. Max is 9, Ellie is 7 and Charlie (who Megan affectionately refers to as “the boss”) just turned 5. And, of course, she and Josh stay busy with their kids’ various hobbies and activities. Max is very creative and really loves painting, drawing and building things. The two girls love doing ballet, and Charlie has just let her parents know that she would like to go to “Ninja School”, so she’s now enrolled in taekwondo. They love to travel as a family, and their two most frequented destinations are Dauphin Island in Alabama, and Daufuskie Island in South Carolina.
Megan’s priority is to build an education-based agency that helps her clients and the community to understand how Medicare works. She invites like-minded, people-oriented, driven, motivated professionals to consider a career in insurance with Silver Lining Medicare Solutions.
