We want to thank you for all that you have done for us in planning our retirement. Without your guidance, we would have had difficulty trying to understand how to navigate through the available Medicare Advantage Programs, Prescription Drug Coverage, Vision, Dental Plans, Department of Health and Human Services as well as
the Social Security Administration (SSA).

In addition, the direction you provided for Lori’s transition to private health insurance, was a major step. You made the transition easy to understand as well as creating the account for us while we were in your office. Without your assistance, we would have never known about the existing “tier” program to negotiate medication coverage and the expense.

Because of your guidance, we filed the Income-Related Monthly Adjustment Amount (IRMAA) paperwork which made us eligible to avoid additional premium charges. One person has said that we should welcome the privilege of growing older because it is one not afforded to everyone. Though there is incredible truth with that statement, it does bring with it the intricate journey of navigating through all the details of Medicare. For those people wanting the best representative to assist them, I wholeheartedly recommend Megan Byrom.

Recently I found myself needing that very help in my life. At least for now, one goes from almost no options in healthcare to all kinds of choices. Even once you have selected a plan, valuable advice can help you save with prescription medications you require. Megan is a lifesaver!

When my husband and I became Medicare eligible he was still employed and could receive insurance benefits through his work. Megan sat down with us, and carefully looked at our options. Our question was – Do we stay with his work insurance or what kind of supplement plan would be better? Initially it was decided that it was more cost-effective to stay with his work benefits.

But then our situation changed. My health continued to be good but Ron was diagnosed with Stage 4 Prostate Cancer. Megan carefully went over his treatment plan including his medications and procedures. The best plan for us was a Medicare Advantage Plan for me and a Medicare Supplement for him.

It turned out to be the best decision. The last part of his life would have been extremely expensive had we stayed with his work insurance or gone with an Advantage plan. All we had to pay was a relatively small monthly fee for his Medicare Supplement. The Advantage plan we chose for me has been the perfect plan for my needs at this time. When my needs change, Megan will look at all of my options and help me determine what plan to select.
